Small Art Nouveau Shapland & Petter Cabinet

Description

A small Art Nouveau cabinet formerly a coal purdonium but now used as a lamp/ end table with storage for newspapers/ magazines etc.. Attributed to Shapland & Petter of Barnstable and bearing impressed registration numbers " R1959 89" to the back. The mahogany carcass having a shaped upstand with an inset art nouveau copper panel, the drop down front having a larger conforming panel and the whole standing on outswept legs with joining stretchers. The sides with stylish heart shaped copper handles also in the Art Nouveau style. Size:- Height...33''/ 84cm. Width...18.5''/ 47cm. Depth...14''/ 35.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £32.
