Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Newly reupholstered in a leaf patterned cream coloured fabric. Good original patina. Would make a wonderful dressing table chair or bedroom chair.

Solid frame. Lovely age and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Old screws to back of seat rail (possibly original to chair) and one to side. Some old worm holes to the front rail which have been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
