Beautiful early 19th.c. marble top mahogany biedermeier dressing chest c.1830. Tall arch top dressing mirror in a crossbanded mahogany frame, angle adjustable on fine column supports with adjustable brass candle sconces, ball finials and turned bases. Over a four drawer chest of drawers with original white marble top and exceptional flame mahogany veneered drawer fronts and sides. Rounded corners, shaped mouldings and a plinth base with turned feet. Oak drawer linings, the top drawer having a fitted interior. Minor wear to the mirror, otherwise excellent colour and condition, retaining the original locks and key. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
