Description

Splendid large Edwardian walnut pedestal desk c.1910. 6' x 3' top with leather writing surface over 8 drawers arranged around a large kneehole. The bottom right hand drawer being double height for files etc. Superb carved front in solid walnut with fluted faux columns and shaped corbels. Raised and fielded panels to the sides, continued across the rear which is also polished, meaning the desk would look great stood in the centre of a room rather than against a wall. Raised on large ceramic castors. Earlier repairs to the surround on the top, otherwise excellent condition. Fitted with a new leather skiver, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied for the centre drawer.
