Description

A 19th Century Bust of the Young Napoleon. The terracotta glazed bust depicting the General c 1797, during his Italian/Austrian campaigns. He has long waved hair, tied at the back with a small ribbon. He looks forward, wearing a high collar coat and stock. The base of the figure enclosed in a fine laurel leaf band. The bust resting on a bow fronted marble plinth, with a brass edge/base.
