French Walnut Marble Top Chest of Drawers C.1830

Description

Very stylish early 19th.c. French Louis Phillipe marble top chest of drawers c.1830. Original grey marble top with rounded corners and a shaped edge over four long drawers. Top drawer with a shaped front and dividers to the interior. Beautifully figured burr walnut veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the front. Shaped mouldings, brass handles and plinth base. A couple of small repairs to the veneers and light wear to the marble. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
