Large Antique Flat Top Chest C.1880

Description

Here we have a 19th Century blanket box in good condition for its age. Originally used to store linen and blankets, nowadays these flat top boxes are an ideal alternative to a coffee table. With the original carrying handles either side of the chest it makes it easy to move around.

Under the lid you will find the original candle box.

Can be used to store toys/shoes/linen etc..

This particular piece has a nautical feel to it.

Stripped to the bare wood it is ready for waxing or painting.

We offer a waxing service for £42
