Description

A rare early Victorian Campaign/gentleman's travelling toilette box. This unusual box has brass mounts which compliment the deep rich colour and distinctive grain of the mulberry wood. This box has a working lock and key and opens to reveal, a removable mirror, brushes and various zinc canisters. There is a compartment for documents concealed behind the mirror.The mirror is a replacement. This is an outstanding box, both as a decorative item and a collectors piece.
