Description

A Beautiful mahogany Edwardian Period ladies cylinder desk by Maple & Co. Having a rectangular solid mahogany top with fine chequer band inlay above two rectangular mahogany lined drawers with similar chequer band inlaid detail. The cylinder fall front bureau enclosing a fitted mahogany interior, with a green leather gilt and blind tooled leather writing surface. The fall front and drawers veneered in the finest flamed mahogany and with a further rectangular drawer to the frieze. The whole supported on square tapering supports with brass and porcelain cup castors, united by a shaped under-tier with fine chequer band inlay throughout. Made by Maple & Co of London. England circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 30" wide x 18" deep x 39.5" high

Condition: This desk is in stunning condition, replacement leather writing surface.
