The sloping fall with a re-placed green leather writing surface which opens to a superb bird's eye maple interior with 2 real drawers and 2 false drawers each with ebony turned pulls and the brass stationary catch . The front with a very well carved Aesthetic panel of flower, leaf and berry design. The turned front columns with subtle carved tops leading to a plinth base with turned feet and brass and porcelain casters. The right side having a panelled door with applied mouldings and opens to reveal 4 graduated drawers each front with inset turned pulls. The reverse side with conforming false door and matching brass escutcheon. The whole in superb condition with all mahogany linings and working locks and keys. Sizes:- Height...38''/ 96.5cm.
