Description

A quality Georgian longcase clock. A pagoda pediment surmounted by 3 original wooden finials. Greek key moulding around the arch and brass stopped fluted corinthian capped columns. An arched trunk door with raised plinth panel with choice flame mahogany veneers. An arched brass and silvered dial with with fine gilt spandrels, date and seconds. A high quality 5-pillar mechanism of 8-day duration striking the hours and half hours on a bell.
