Description

A mahogany Regency Period gentleman's wardrobe attributable to Gillows Of Lancaster. The stepped and moulded inverted breakfront cornice above twin panelled doors of a typical "Gillows" design with the finest flame mahogany veneers and geometric reeded mouldings, opens to reveal an arrangement of six oak lined sliding trays and three mahogany lined drawers flanked by fluted pilasters. Also having an unusual feature of Cuban mahogany panelled doors to the ends enclosing four hanging hooks, the whole supported on typical Gillows fluted feet. England circa 1820

Condition: This wardrobe is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed

A mahogany Regency Period gentleman's wardrobe attributable to Gillows Of Lancaster.
