Description

A Burr walnut & marquetry inlaid Victorian Period credenza. Having a shaped top veneered in finely figured burr walnut above a marquetry inlaid frieze and having a central rectangular panelled door again veneered in the finest burr walnut with marquetry inlaid detail and ormolu beading. The door opens to reveal a silk lined shelved interior, flanked by ormolu mounted pilasters with further fine marquetry detail. The bowed glazed end doors also opening to reveal silk lined shelved interiors, the whole supported on a shaped walnut veneered plinth. England circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 64" wide x 16" deep x 41" high

Condition: This wardrobe is in excellent condition, cleaned and waxed
