Steel and Brass Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1920 - or possibly a little earlier, this very unusual lamp has a heavy steel/iron base with the letters underneath: CALPA and BBA that we cannot identify, and it has a twisted brass column. It is extremely heavy!

It is 69cm in height in total including the lamp holder and the base is 25.5cm in diameter.

It could possibly have been two separate items put together in the late Victorian period - early 20th Century as it came in with very old two core wiring.

It was rewired by a professional electrician but would need an up to date PAT before use as our electrician is closed at present.

Postage and packing is included for UK mainland only, but if the buyer can arrange collection from us we will offer a very good discount on the price. For remote areas or abroad, please contact us for a delivery quote.
