Description

A very fine quality French ebonised and brass inlaid escritoire writing cabinet. The fall is beautifully inlaid with a vase of flowers and the five drawers with a scroll leaf design. The cabinet has double string inlay to the front and single brass string inlay to the sides finished with good quality bronze gilt ormolu mounts and moulds and a white carrera marble top.

Inside, the cabinet has a green leather writing surface with birds eye maple and rosewood veneered interior with two drawers.

All five drawers are oak lined and have their original locks and are in full working order.
