The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 1930s.
They include: the tortoise and the hare, the ant and the grasshopper, town mouse and country mouse, the wolf and the lamb, the two pots, the fox and the stork, etc. Each is marked with the caduceus mark with SP initials for Stephane Prudhomme.

They measure 3 1/2" wide, 1" wide across the angled front, 11/16" high and 7/8" deep. Condition is very good with no damage or repair, a little surface wear and touches of rubbing to the plate at the corners on a few. The box is in good order with no damage but some yellowing to the velvet and satin.
