A Superb Quality Pollard Oak Late Victorian Period Bedroom Suite

Description

A superb quality pollard oak Late Victorian Period bedroom suite comprising of a large pollard oak wardrobe with a projecting carved cornice with turned supports above an arrangement of two rectangular bevelled mirrored doors enclosing hanging rails and hooks, a central stained glass panelled door and four mahogany lined drawers with pierced brass handles. The large accompanying dressing table having two large adjustable bevelled mirrors to the back and a central stained glass panel and rectangular central cabinet above the stepped top veneered in pollard oak and having an arrangement of eight mahogany lined drawers and two cupboards, each with pierced brass handles, raised on square block supports with brass castors. The five foot wide double bed having a panelled head board with Art Nouveau inspired carving which is repeated on the elaborate footboard which also has vase turned columns. English circa 1890-1900

Dimensions: Bed 63" high headboard x 80" long x 60" wide Wardrobe 85" wide x 91" high x 23" deep Dressing Table 72" wide x 28" deep x 69" high

Condition: This bedroom suite is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
