Description

A lovely (and rare) early/mid 19th century rosewood JARDINIERE or FLOWER TABLE by Gillows of Lancaster.

This gorgeous table is of octagonal shape, and supported on a fine solid carved rosewood central pillar, with gadrooned collar, leading to four carved cabriole legs with scroll feet, embellished with cabochons and original concealed castors beneath. Complete with zinc liner, this is a stunning and fine example of a Gillows table that we have not seen before. Measurements: 24ins high; the top 21ins x 21ins. (61 x 53 x 53cms)
