Austrian Cold-painted Bronze "Golden" Pheasant

Description

A fine late 19th century Austrian "Vienna" cold-painted BRONZE GOLDEN PHEASANT in exceptional original condition.

This good and highly-collectable bronze is bright and complete with virtually all of its original paintwork. It is stamped "Geschultz" (copyright) underneath and measures 8.5ins (21.5cms) long.

*The golden or "Chinese" pheasant is native to the mountainous areas of Western China. However feral populations have established themselves in Florida, the United Kingdom and elsewhere.
