Description

Stunning sterling silver demi-tasse coffee set by Gorham, in their Plymouth shape dating from the 1920s. Lovely elegant form with fluted detail and pagoda knop to the coffee pot. The pedestal cream jug and matching swing handled sugar basket have reeded, shaped rims and handles and all 3 pieces sit on oval, stepped bases. The jug and sugar basket are beautifully gilded inside. The coffee pot is marked as having 1 1/4pint capacity and the jug 1/4 pint. All pieces have a monogram to one side.

The coffee pot measures 10 3/4" high, 8" spout to handle and 3 3/4" wide. The jug measures 5 1/4" high, 4 3/4" spout to handle and 2 1/4" wide. The basket is 5 3/4" high to the handle, 5 1/4" long and 3 1/2" wide. Total weight is 757g/24.3ozt. Condition is excellent with no damage and light surface wear from age and use.
