The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The outer part has architectural structures decorated with feathery purple scrolls and arabesques, scattered items, guns and shooting gear and a drum and pipes and stylised dolphin fountains. A pale yellow ground border with flowers and foliage decorates the rim with gilded touches. Marked to the back with the Lille 1767 mark in black. I have a second similar plaque I am selling separately but happy to pair them up if you would wish.
It measures 14 3/4" by 12 1/4" wide and 3/8" deep. Condition is excellent with no damage and very light surface wear. The whole surface is lightly crazed as is common with these faience style wares.
