Description

A French late 19th Century rosewood and ormolu mounted Vernis Martin vitrine. The typical pierced ormolu crest above a serpentine glazed door, which opens to reveal plate glass shelves and a velvet lined interior with a Vernis Martin panel depicting a young man serenading his maiden within a wooded landscape, with similar landscapes to the ends. Supported on shaped cabriole supports with ormolu mounts throughout. French circa 1880-1900

Dimensions: 73" high x 26" wide x 19" deep

Condition: This cabinet is in superb condition, cleaned and waxed. There is one old repair to the Central panel (see pictures)
