Victorian Oak and Silver Plate Ice Bucket, Circa 1890

Description

A gorgeous English Victorian oak and silver plated ice bucket with white china liner, pierced silver plated drainer and folding handle. There is also a vacant shield cartouche to the front. Has the mark of cupid which relates to John Grinsell & Sons, Victoria works, England. Circa 1890.

Measurements:

Height: 5" (approx 12.5cm)

Diameter of base: 4" (approx 10cm)

Diameter if top: 5 1/2" (approx 14cm)

This is the first one we've had for some years, these are really scarce!
