Antique Silver "Hunting Scene" Snuff Box.

Description

Fine quality Early Victorian silver snuff box. This great box is of rectangular shape and of a good heavy gauge silver. The cover/lid depicts a huntsman with a rifle and hunting dogs, looking across a style onto woodland, the lid has a good cast foliate thumbpiece. The sides of this box have a reeded design and the base displays a high quality engine-turned pattern, The edges have a floral border. Good box.
