Silver Tablespoon Incuse Mark London 1785. George Smith.

Very fine and rare Georgian solid silver tablespoon. Simple design with no engravings apart from initials at the top of the handle: J.C. The back of the spoon is fully hallmarked: London 1785 and has the very rare incuse duty mark of George III (looking to the left), used in 1785. It also has clear maker''s mark: George Smith.
 
 
 
Condition: This tablespoon is in excellent used condition. The hallmarks and incuse duty mark are clearly visible.
