Hexagonal Empire Style Centre Table C.1920.

Description

Beautiful Empire style hexagonal mahogany and marble top gueridon or centre table c.1920. Smaller than many we see, just three feet wide. Figured green marble top over a mahogany base with matching ormolu mounts to each face. Six turned column legs with particularly fine gilded mounts to the capitals and bases, joined with a star shape stretcher with pierced brass mount at the centre. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
