Description

Antique Victorian mahogany pedestal desk with a tooled leather writing surface. This desk is in very good original condition & is excellent quality. All the drawers are graduated in depth, plus they all have locks & original turned mahogany handles. They are finely dovetailed too. The back of this desk is polished, so it looks good from all angles. It comes apart into three sections, with the top just lifting of the bases. The hand coloured leather top is really smart & beautifully faded. This is a classic Victorian piece & dates from around the 1840-60's period.
