Description

A pair of the most special Breakfast dishes I have come across in some time, we only ever purchase them when they are particularly special, this one by the top quality Atkin Brothers, dating to around 1880.

The dish stands on four decorative legs terminating with a very regal Lion's paw foot. The legs are joined by the most wonderful cast garlands and the domes beautifully engraved.

When the knob at the front is pushed back the dome revolves to reveal the two original shallow trays. These are perfect on a buffet to serve either hot (with hot water beneath) or cold (with crushed ice below) dishes; a very impressive addition to any occasion.

A beautiful pair of dishes in excellent condition and an impressive large size each spanning 14 1/2" x 10 1/4" x 9 1/2" tall to top of dome.
