Description

Lovely Late 19th French bronze sculpture of a female, signed in the bronze by the French artist E.Laurent. It is foundry stamped with the susse fres mark as seen in the images.

This sculpture is in very good condition with fine detail and a lovely rich chocolate patination.

Eugene Laurent (1832- 1898)

Born in Gray April 1832, he exhibited regularly at the salon between 1861- 1893. His works are of very high quality and with good attention to detail.
