Description

Very handsome George III mahogany serpentine fronted chest of drawers c.1810. Solid mahogany top with shaped front and sides, crossbanded edge and delightful barber’s pole stringing. Over three long mahogany lined drawers with pronounced serpentine shaped fronts and octagonal brass ring handles. With herringbone inlaid frieze across the top and canted corners with further marquetry inlaid detail. Shaped apron with an inlaid lozenge and shaped front feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
