Late C18th George III period mahogany demi-lune side or pier table with profuse neo-classical style inlay . Raised on tapering square leg supports , terminating in block spade feet .Fitted with a deep central oak-lined frieze drawer , the end panels of the frieze having been adapted and hinged as shallow cupboards, all fitted with lion-mask plate handles (could be re-instated to original form if desired).
Satinwood cross-banding throughout, and high-quality swag and ribbon inlay , the tops of the legs with inlaid classical urn onto a satinwood panel . The triple-line satinwood cross-banded demi-lune top featuring large central urn and swags, of coloured neo-classical design inlay . The front edge also has satinwood banding/inlay.
Good rich consistent colour and patination .
