Description

Stunning early 20th.c. French marble top cabinet or wardrobe c.1920. Well figured marble top with beautifully shaped and moulded edges. Over two marquetry work doors with a design of flowers inlaid into symmetrically arranged kingwood veneers within shaped boxwood stringing and a crossbanded border. Ormolu mounted bombé shaped sides, also veneered and crossbanded to match. Well shaped apron and feet with further ormolu mounts and trim. Fitted inside with a mirror and two front to back hanging rails for clothes. Could be easily fitted with shelves if required. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
