Carved Oak Blanket Chest or Coffer

Description

An attractive large oak blanket box or coffer. Of panelled construction with carved front, it has two dummy handles to the front and stands on bun feet. The hinged lid lifts to reveal a large amount of storage space to the inside. In well-figured solid oak with lots of wear and old marks.

Quite a few old marks and some old holes that have been filled. Good colour and patina. Other general wear and marks commensurate with age.
