The top surmounted by an eagle, with wings outstretched, perched on a rocky outcrop. The eagle surmount flanked by scrolled and hanging leaves. The frame with a rounded mould rim, sweeping into a dish of corvette balls. The original convex plate held within an ebonized reeded slip.
Date c 1820.
Height 42 inches, diameter 24 1/2 inches.
