Sold by: Waterfall Antiques

An extremely high quality example of a 19th century three-tier whatnot in solid mahogany. This useful piece of English cabinetmaking – c1850/c1875 – is comprised of a top with a three-quarter gallery upstand over a frieze with a single drawer that retains its original turned knob handles. There are two further shelves below, with delicate turned upright supports. Excellent well-figured timbers with a rich colour.
