Regency Mahogany Settee C.1830.

19th century
Description

Handsome Regency period couch or settee c.1830. Typically restrained design with a gently curving cresting rail and gracefully shaped arms with attractive carved detail and shaped fronts over a firm bow fronted seat. Plinth base raised on the original bracket feet with superbly carved scroll detail. Recently upholstered in a well chosen striped linen. Excellent colour and condition with clean covers.
