Charming George Jones Victorian majolica strawberry server tray of trefoil shape with a pair of birds' nests forming the open holders for the sugar bowl and creamer. The dish has a turquoise ground and moulded decoration of leaves, branches and blossom. There would have been a small bird perched between the nests which has been damaged at some time and the area well restored to show as branches now. This model is quite rare but sadly not complete. Marked to the back with GJ plaque and diamond registration mark dated for 1870.
It measures 3" high and 10 5/8" by 10 1/4" wide. Condition bar the previously mentioned restoration is very good with no damage and light surface wear appropriate for age.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
Price includes UK postage. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
