Description

An exhibition quality burr walnut Victorian Period credenza by Edwards & Roberts Of London. Having a shaped top veneered in the finest burr walnut cross banded in amboyna, above a purple heart and arabesque inlaid frieze. The central panelled doors having fine quality purple heart, boxwood and pen-work panels, opening to reveal a silk lined interior and stamped by the makers Edwards & Roberts of London. The central doors flanked by freestanding reeded columns with corinthian capitols with ormolu mounts. The bowed ends having glazed doors with silk lined shelves raised on a shaped plinth and turned bun feet. English circa 1880-1890

Dimensions: 74" wide x 43" high x 19" deep

Condition: This credenza is in excellent condition.
