The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Hallmarked to the sides for Birmingham 1923, makers Alexander Clark & Co. Ltd and further retailer marks to the base also for Alexander Clark Co. Ltd London and registered design number 641133.

The teapot measures 11.5cm (4 ½”) high, 24cm (9 ½”) long and 16.5cm (6 ½”) wide. The sugar bowl is 6.5cm (2 ½”) high and 11.5cm (4 ¼”) wide by 14cm (5 ½”) and the jug is also 6.5cm (2 ½”) high and 10cm (4”) by 13cm (5”) wide. Total weight is 844g/27ozt.

Condition is excellent. There is a very fine shrinkage line to the upper part of the knop, which is barely visible. The knop and handle are perfectly secure and surface wear is very light, the set appears to have been little used.
