Camden Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The top is cross banded with feather banding inlay as are the drawer fronts. There is an arrangement of 3 short over 3 long , graduated, drawers giving ample storage capacity. The drawers are fitted with attractive solid brass handles and lock plates. All standing on strong bracket feet. This chest has a great depth of colour and patina and is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
