The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The movement is signed Perfecta and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover which is also signed Perfecta and has details of medals won. Perfecta was a brand name used by Meyer Fils & Cie from La Chaux de Fonds, registered in 1898.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside both of the case backs, together with the Perfecta name. The case has a little unevenness to the hinged back but overall the condition is fairly good.

The acrylic lens is in good order with just a small 3mm patch of marking.
The white enamel dial has some faint hairline cracks and a small chip at the centre of the sub seconds dial. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a silver double albert, hallmarked for 1916. Each chain measures 25cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
Also included is an Edwardian silver vesta case, hallmarked for 1903.
