An exquisite pair of 19th Century chrystoleums depicting Queen Victoria and Prince Albert on horseback, Windsor Castle can be seen in the background.

Painted on glass in strong and vibrant colours, this high quality pair of pictures captures the characters of the royal couple in a delightful, stylised form. There is some minor wear to some of the painted areas, but this is very minor and the overall condition is good. The colours 'zing' out of the original mahogany frames, as the images are painted onto glass, they have a wonderful luminous quality. Published by J.Fairburn, London - this pair of chrystoleums have a huge decorative appeal.
