Silver Edwardian Embossed Card Case - Henry Matthews

Description

This stunning EDWARDIAN SOLID SILVER EMBOSSED CARD CASE has a perfectly fitting flip top lid and retains most of the gilt inside the case despite being over 110 years old. Made in Birmingham in 1903 by Henry Matthews, a celebrated silversmith, the hallmarks are all clearly visible. This is a very collectable solid silver card case which is in excellent condition with two blank cartouches, no personal markings or monograms and would make this excellent piece a perfect present for someone.
