Unrestored Georgian Mahogany Chest on Chest C.1800.

Description

In good unrestored condition, we present this fine George III mahogany chest on chest c.1800. Lots of useful storage here, the top chest with two short drawers over three long on a base with three long drawers of graduated depth. Shaped cornice with inlaid detail over a cross banded frieze with inlaid motif at the centre. Canted and inlaid corners, flame mahogany drawer fronts retaining all the original brass handles (damage to one back plate), oak drawer linings and original bracket feet.
