Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
This is a rare pocket watch made by the premier watch maker Longines.

It depicts Bleriot's plane crossing the channel, with a ship and Seagull, it is bright and crisp and the attention to detail is quite breathtaking.
Made of a mixture of solid 18ct yellow and rose gold and it is a full size full hunter measuring 50mm in diameter.

The dial is perfect with no hairlines, cracks or chips.
It is totally original, the dial has not been restored or retouched.
The movement is a calibre 18.80
The movement has been professionally serviced and the case cleaned and polished so it looks absolutely stunning.
Overall this is an incredible pocket watch and very much a statement piece to be admired - one which collectors of Longines watches and of Louis Bleriot would be proud to own.
