Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The head of the bed has a exquisite arched brass headboard with a high upholstered panel in the centre

The foot end of the bed has elaborated brass castings with intertwined rings and stylised leaves and flowers
The bed head is upholstered in a sculptured chenille a good neutral colour that will fit in anywhere, this is in good condition as is the brass with only very minor dings. It is a timeless in design it will go very well in a Victorian styled bed room, it also has that stand alone quality to go with any design

It takes a normal double mattress (54” x 75”) and will be supplied with a new purpose ,made pine slatted base to support the mattress
The bed breaks down for transportation, it is 82” high at the head end and 46” high at the foot and the overall width is 56”
