A Late Victorian Swiss Pocket Watch and Chain

1900 - 1920
Description

A late Victorian Swiss pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely (a winding key is included). The movement is signed Made in Locle for E Harris, Liverpool which implies that E Harris was the importer and retailer of the watch.

The watch measures 53mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss 935 silver marks inside both of the back covers. The front of the case is in good condition while there are a handful of fairly small indentations to the back.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is in very nice order.

The watch comes on a silver chain which measures 21.5cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
