1920s Gold Plated Pinnacle Pocket Watch with Chain

Description

A vintage 1920s gold plated Pinnacle pocket watch with later chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to around two minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is stamped Pinnacle, 7 jewels, Swiss Made.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold plated case was made by the England based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case has light surface marks from use and a mild unevenness to the back but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Pinnacle with Swiss Made at the bottom. It is nice condition with original blued steel Breguet style hands.

The watch comes with a later chain, 29cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The chain is a little more golden in colour and a little brighter than the watch but they do sit nicely together.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
