1760. Beautiful brass faced, arch top dial with a rolling moon, silvered chapter ring, date display and steel fingers. With pierced spandrels, fine engraved decoration at the centre and arch named for James Sandiford Manchester. Oak case with a large and impressive hood featuring swan neck mouldings, unusual hand painted gilt decoration and turned columns. Over an a long door with shaped top flanked on each side with quarter columns, ogee mouldings, shaped base panel and bracket feet. Excellent colour and condition cleaned and polished in our workshops. The works have also been cleaned and overhauled and are sold with a 12 month guarantee. Original weights and pendulum. Winder and key supplied.
