Description

A lovely serpentine shaped writing desk, or table, in burr walnut. Made in the Queen Anne style from solid walnut, attractive burr walnut veneers and solid oak drawer linings. The serpentine shaped top is fitted with a sumptuous green leather writing surface which is decorated with gilt tooling. There is an arrangement of one long central drawer , flanked by two sets of 3 graduated short drawers. All drawers are fitted with their original brass handles. The whole table stands well on elegant cabriole legs. It is finished to the rear so could be free standing within a room if desired. This charming table has a lovely colour and patina and is offered for sale in excellent condition.
